The streak continues: 4 golds in a row for USA

In the much-anticipated re-match of the last two U18 championships, Team USA played a nearly-flawless game, winning with surprising ease, 7-0, to capture their fourth consecutive gold medal. They were led by 5 points from Nicolas Kerdiles and 27 saves from goaltender Collin Olson. Canada gets bronze in OT victory over Finland

Team Canada and Team Finland squared off for a rematch of a group stage game, which ended better for the team from Northern Europe. This time, Canada built up a three-goal lead, which they lost in less than 20 minutes. With the game going to the overtime, Hunter Shinkaruk became the hero scoring the game-winning goal and a hat trick to lead Canada to their first medal in four years. Read more »
